English Gays Slap Down Sweden After Arrest In Stockholm

An Englishman, his boyfriend and an unidentified third man were discovered by security personnel in the outside courtyard of a Stockholm nightclub, and were asked to come back inside the establishment. This lead to the arrest of the Englishman by Swedish Police.

After being asked to come back inside, the Englishman said that the nightclub’s security personnel tried to grab his cigarette and put it out. The Englishman resisted, and a struggle ensued as the non-compliant Englishman was lead to the side gate of the outside courtyard. During the struggle, the Englishman assaulted the security personnel, was wrestled to the ground and continued to resist as security personnel tried to handcuff him. When Swedish police arrived, they assessed the situation and took the man into custody for processing and most likely deposited him into the drunk tank until he appeared ready to be released.

During that time, the Englishman claims to have asked again and again for his Embassy, Doctors and Drugs for pain.

“The Local”, an electronic newspaper here in Sweden, contacted the Norrmalm police station where the Englishman was held and processed, and the Norrmalm’s police confirmed that “He was arrested because he hit one of the security guards in the face and kicked another in the leg”. One of the security guards had injuries to his face and another had a sore leg after the Englishman assaulted the Security guards, said police spokesman Anders Eklund. “The Local” also confirmed this story with the nightclub owner, who mirrored the police report.”The guard did not beat him. He hit the guard,” she told “The Local”.

This rings just like the story that ran for months in the Newspapers here, regarding the Drunken Brawl bar fight involving a Social Democrat Youth Chairwoman. During that time the Left Wing Media in Sweden plastered stories of support for their Swedish Socialist darling in News Conferences on TV and in headline stories in the Newspapers.

Swedish Social Democrats

Drunken Bar Fight

On January 29, 2006 Anna Sjödin was arrested by the police outside the pub Crazy Horse in Östermalm in Stockholm. According to Babak Jamei, one of the bouncers, a drunk Sjödin not only assaulted him and other bouncers but also used derogatory words—alluding to the fact that he was an immigrant. Sjödin, however, claims that the bouncers assaulted her and her friends. She had to spend the night in the constabulary. The prosecutor rejected Sjödins allegations, but continued investigating the allegations made by the bouncers.

During the trial Sjödin continued to claim that the bouncer had screamed profanities at her and her friend and that he was aggressive, but she also admitted that she had drunk a couple of strong beers, a third of a bottle of wine and one tequila. The barman had determined that Sjödin was too drunk to be served, and called the bouncers to eject Sjödin and her friend. During the trial, witnesses testified that Sjödin, who is a former rugby player, had used violence in resisting her ejection from the pub.

On October 12, 2006, the Stockholm district court found Sjödin guilty of assaulting the bouncer “insult” (Swedish: förolämpning), “taking the law into one’s own hands” (Swedish: egenmäktigt förfarande), “assaulting a person holding legal authority” (Swedish: vÃ¥ld mot tjänsteman) and “violent resistance” (Swedish: vÃ¥ldsamt motstÃ¥nd). She was sentenced to pay a fine of 120 days wages (Swedish: dagsböter) at 300 kronor per day (36,000 kronor in total). Sjödin was also ordered to pay 5,500 kronor in damages to Babak Jamei, the doorman. The court found that Sjödin had used words of “racist characteristic”, she had called the guard “bloody blackskull” (Swedish: djävla svartskalle) and had said that people such as him were not welcome in Sweden. The court said that there was strong evidence that Sjödin had challenged the bouncer’s authority. The court also found that Sjödin had ripped Jamei’s badge from his jacket and taken it with her into a police car. Sjödin has decided to appeal the verdict to the Svea Court of Appeal.. The Court of Appeal realized there was no merit in her case and has decided not to try this case.

These Facts Mean Nothing

To The

Left of Center Swedish Media

There has been open season in the Swedish Left Wing Media on Swedish Nightclubs, especially Nightclubs in Stockholm. It has been everything from complaints of exclusive entrance selection to rough handling by Nightclub Security personnel, which are required to be hired by nightclub owners at great expense.

Hardly anyone who has been to a Nightclub in Sweden can say they have not seen the excessive drinking and Hooligan behavior of bar patrons. These individuals often drink at home, and then show up drunk at the door of the nightclubs, only to later wind themselves up into violent outbursts.

Why are Swedish Left Wing Media reports lacking on the behavior of drunken bar patrons, who disrupt enjoyable evenings for non-violent Swedish bar patrons with fear and injuries, and – as in the case of the disgraced Swedish Social Democrat – racist insults?

The Swedish electronic newspaper “The Local” did not report why the Arrested Englishman was outside of the bar in the courtyard with his boyfriend and another man. “The Local” did not report why the Arrested Englishman did not return to the bar and vacate the courtyard when asked by the security personnel. Why didn’t the Englishman comply with the Nightclub’s Security personnel and return to the bar when asked initially ,and why did the Englishman not leave the premises of the nightclub when asked, but instead resisted and assaulted the security guards?

“The Local” reports that the Englishman claims the Security Personnel tried to “furtively attempt to snap my fingers”. How many times have we not seen drunks in bars resist and lash out at security personnel and police when they are being handcuffed? It is likely that the security personnel tried to pry the Englishman’s hands off of one of the other security guards or an object he was holding while he was resisting being restrained while assaulting the security guards.

“The Local” then prints a statement by the Arrested Englishman that the way he was treated for his disorderly conduct here in Sweden “one might expect in a struggling democracy, but not in a country that is a member of the European Union.” Back in England they have ways of treating unruly bar patrons. They ban them for life. They ban the lesser offenders for months at a time, not just from one bar but from all bars within a town. In England they have “Pub Watch” which is an attempt to keep the troublemakers out of the bars to keep them safe and enjoyable for the majority of patrons who can hold their liquor and their tempers as well.

The way this story has been reported by “The Local” reminds me of the Englishman who was banned for life from the pubs for FARTING!

I am more than a little tired of the Left Wing Swedish media, printing story after titillating story with accusations of discrimination and violence, and not printing the retractions or apologies when the cases are proved to be false in Swedish Courts. There is a foul wind of Flatulence blowing in the Swedish Media, it is Anti-Swedish and it STINKS!!!

BTW – the Swedish Left Wing Media still hasn’t recognized that the Social Democrats are not in power, as they continue to ignore the achievements of the ruling Moderate Party. Of course, when ever a political jab can be made at the Moderates, the Newspapers will go into overdrive.

OPEC Is Not in the House

by Jerry Taylor and Peter Van Doren

Jerry Taylor and Peter Van Doren are senior fellows. Peter Van Doren is also editor of
Regulation magazine.

On Tuesday, the House of Representatives passed a bill on a vote of 345-72 that would allow the federal government to sue OPEC for violations of America’s anti-trust laws. Not to put too fine a point on it, but the “No Oil Producing and Exporting Cartels Act of 2007” (NOPEC) is probably the most ridiculous piece of legislation ever hammered through Congress. That serious people entertain this idea is a remarkable demonstration of the fact that, once the topic of conversation turns to oil, the human brain spontaneously short-circuits, nodal synapses fire randomly, and I.Q. points bleed out of the cranium and all over the kitchen floor.
