Sweden’s Construction Workers Strike is Over

Swedens Construction Workers back to Work

The construction workers union finally worked out a deal early on Tuesday morning. They now have a three year agreement.

Since Wednesday last week 800 workers at Peab were on strike. Another 1500 people were notified that they might have to go on strike starting April 27^th.

The construction workers union (Byggnads) have among other things gotten their demand through regarding the employers’ obligation to send in information on salaries to the union, not only for members of Byggnads, but also for those from other unions and those who aren’t even in any union.
