The Danish SAS staff strike continues, and all flights to and from Landvetter, Gothenburg have been cancelled, at least until 3 pm today.
It’s the Danish cabin staff that are protesting against their deteriorated working conditions.
Yesterday 290 flights were cancelled, and today so far 149 flights have been cancelled.
What happens after 3 pm is still unsure, sometimes the cancelling information doesnät come until right before departure is scheduled. Copenhagen travellers are urged not to come to Landvetter airport, but reschedule their flights through SAS or their travelling agency.
The union is trying to get the wild strike to cease, the cabin staff is urged to go back to work, but unfortunatley this might go on until SAS are willing to discuss an agreement.
The union and SAS are going to have a meeting today at 2 pm, to try to get some kind of agreement together, this is why things are a little scetchy as of right now regarding what happens after 3 pm.
