The Seed of the Church: Martyrdom in Turkey

Just a few weeks ago, Christians gathered in the Holy Land to remember the Armenian victims of genocide. Between 1915 and 1919, 1.5 million Armenians living in Turkey were slaughtered. Shockingly, few today have even heard about the brutal persecution that nearly annihilated this ancient people—who, by the way, chose Christianity as their national religion in 301 A.D.

SHOW

Jihadism v. Democracy

Prager H1: Dennis talks to Walid Phares, Senior Fellow at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, and Fox News terrorism expert. His new book is The War of Ideas: Jihadism against Democracy… Six would-be Muslim terrorists are arrested in New Jersey. Four of them were from the former Yugoslavia, a nation we attacked to save Muslims… Obama says 10,000 people were killed by Kansas tornado. Every public figure makes gaffes. But would the media be so forgiving if GW made the same mistake? A restaurant owner in Louisville, Kentucky refuses serve to OJ Simpson. OJ’s lawyer plays the race card in response.

Dennis Gets Side Swiped

Prager H2: In a parking lot of his favorite bowling alley. The man who hit him turns out to be a big fan. As one gets older, one is more touched by acts of goodness than shaken by acts of evil… Global Cooling has hit Poland which has lost much of its apple crop to cold weather… A young woman is being forced into a drug rehab program because she took an unauthorized Tylenol at her high school.

Israel Won

Prager H3: The media here, in Israel and in the Arab world announced that Israel had “lost” the war in Lebanon. Dennis disagreed then and does now. Today Thomas Friedman writes a column in which he explains why he agrees with Dennis. Here’s the salient point: the same thing is has happening wit Iraq War. The media and the Democrats say we have lost. But are we really?… Fewer people are watching TV, according to latest data.

The New Kingdom of Europe – Sweden

Only 40% of Swedes are in Favor Of the European Union

Wednesday in Stockholm. Professor Sören Holmberg, reported in Swedish Newspapers that a recent postal survey sent to 6,000 Swedes by the SOM Institute last autumn showed that only 40% of Swedes were in favor of the European Union.

Only 10 Percent of Swedes Think that adding Turkey to the EU is a good idea

Responses in the survey found Swedes do not want Turkey in the EU. In my conversations with Swedish people there is apprehension and sometimes anger that lesser developed countries are being admitted to the EU. Many people do not want the economic drain and others do not want the immigration problem to be compounded. When East and West, Germany was unified the economic burden was tremendous. Who benefits from Turkey being admitted to the European Union. Clearly Swedes do not feel Sweden benefits or the current membership of the EU would benefit.

Most Swedes also do not believe Swedish participation European Union Military Peacekeeping Missions is a good idea.

The European Union failed in it’s recent attempt at adaptation of a cohesive Constitution. In countries where the citizens were allowed to vote for the constitution, the EU constitution was rejected.

Who exactly is pushing this European Union down on the people of Europe?

Do the citizens of Europe benefit by the formation of a European Kingdom ruled by special interest groups and Liberal Elites?

The European Media and the Swedish media have all joined with the to put the most positive spin on the extension of powers of the European Union.

Swedes are angered when Swedish Laws are challenged by New EU Laws or when European Union Courts rule that Swedish Laws are subservient to EU legislation.

The majority of Europeans have not approved the adaptation of new constitutional powers for the European Union. The Elites and the media monkeys rant and rave about the European Union and insist on moving blindly into deeper commitments that erode individual nations sovereignty.

Aspects of the European Union regarding free trade have been been positive. There have however been conflicts and real problems do in fact exist.

Dangerous drugs are shipped daily into Sweden which are legal and unrestricted by EU Law but are in fact addictive and illegal under Swedish Law.

Believe it or not, but there are Social Welfare benefits that exist in the EU that have not been adopted, budgeted or planned for by the Swedish government. Who will pay for all the expected freeloaders now unrestricted by boarders within the EU?

There are more questions then answers when it comes to Sweden’s involvement in the European Union.

Caution is needed before we give the EU any more power over the Swedish government. Sweden should participate within the EU but maintain it’s own identity, sovereignty and Culture.

Selling SEX in SWEDEN Legal – Buyers of SEX to be Sentenced to Prison

20 men between the ages of 20 and 77 are now facing prison sentences for having bought sex from Russian prostitutes. The men are part of a trafficking investigation that has been going on since wintertime last year. This will be an interesting court case, since the prosecutor wants the court to try whether or not buying sex from a foreign woman who has come here through trafficking is to be considered worse than buying sex from a Swedish woman on the street. The 20 men have during a couple of years, on single or repeated occasions, bought sex from Russian girls by phone calls.

Four other people are being charged for pimping the women, three men and one woman. Part of this charge is also the trafficking, human smuggling.

Sweden’s Social Democrats get their Woman

I think it was almost immediately after the defeat of the Social Democrats in the last election that the talk was that outgoing Swedish Prime Prime minister, Göran Persson, should be replaced as leader of the party by a woman. This was the decision, short and simple. The Social Democrats did not rally, did not commit themselves to finding the most qualified and dynamic individual. The single most important attribute for party leader in this country that prides itself on equality was that the new party leader must be a woman. This strikes me as funny, as they blatantly display their sexist views under the banner of equality.

The party leader should be the leader that is most likely to be able to revive the party and move the party’s positions forward. This person should be chosen based on ability and not because they are a man or they are a woman. This week Mona Sahlin will take the reins of the Social Democrats. She was not the first choice or even the second choice for party leader. It seems that the Social Democrats had a problem finding a woman that was willing to consider the top position for the Social Democrats.

The decision to limit the selection of a party leader to women cut the pool of qualified candidates in half and now they have chosen someone that was not even at the top of the list of Social Democrat women.

Social Democrats ‘no more electable’ under Sahlin

Fewer than half of Social Democrat voters believe that new leader Mona Sahlin will make the party more electable, according to a new opinion poll.

Outgoing party leader and former prime minister Göran Persson was widely blamed for the party’s defeat in September’s election. Sahlin, a veteran minister, is the only candidate to succeed him later this wee

BREAKPOINT with Chuck Colson- 2007-04-11

ThePoint

Pro-Life TV: That’s a Baby! With Chuck Colson
The scene on the popular medical drama House was typical TV. One doctor, a woman, was explaining to a pregnant woman what was being done to save her baby. But Dr. House, the strongly atheistic hero, kept correcting his colleague with the term “fetus.”

About

SHOW

Imus Being Imus With Dennis Prager

Prager H1: Dennis talks to John Leo of the Manhattan Institute. In a Wall Street Journal piece today Leo says, in effect, that Imus has always been a low life, that everyone knows it, including the politicians and celebrity journalists, like NY Times Frank Rich, who regularly go on his show… There was another excellent opinion piece on this subject today, this one by Jason Whitlock in which he writes that Imus is just a convenient diversion from the real issue – the degradation of black culture.

Who Murdered Boris Litvinenko? With Dennis Prager

Prager H2: Dennis talks to Yuri Felshtinsky, historian of post-Soviet Russia and author. His new book, based on the information provided by poisoned ex-KGB agent, Boris Litvinenko is Blowing Up Russia: The Secret Plot to Bring Back KGB Terror… The Duke Rape charges are finally being dropped. Is the accuser going to be punished for her lies?

Follow the Money With Dennis Prager

Prager H3: If you do, you will come to the conclusion that it’s in supporting global warming research – the kind that says it’s all man-made. The Doris Duke Foundation is giving a cool $100 to what Leo Di Caprio calls “the cause”… In Michigan the Democratic dominated legislature wants to give any student an IPod. Vote Democrat and you get gifts…. Hero of the week: the Slovenian who swam the Amazon. He survived toothpick fish. (You don’t want to know)… New Al Qaeda terror attack in Algeria… PBS and BBC cancel shows dealing with the Islam and the War in Iraq. They don’t want “to offend” anyone… A lottery winners curses his good luck.

“New Crusaders” take hostages at New Jersey School

Gunmen allegedly stormed the school and took students hostage

It has been said they are seeking justice because the daughter of one member of the organization had been expelled for PRAYING BEFORE CLASS.

The Crap that is going on in America and Europe has to end.I received this email today from the ACLJ, This is a great organization, read all about the latest outrage. If you are unaware of the American Center for Law and Justice, you should get yourself familiar with them.Someone has to stand up and fight for FREEDOM.

Read what is going on back in America!!!

TUESDAY, APRIL 03, 2007

A situation has come to my attention that has left me outraged.

A mock hostage-taking with staged – albeit terrifying – gunmen descending on a New Jersey high school as part of a drill occurred late last month. Who were the portrayed terrorists?

CONSERVATIVE CHRISTIANS.

No other group in America would tolerate this kind of religious profiling! And we will not stand for it either. Please support our efforts to hold school officials accountable for their oppressive actions. Give your online gift of support right now.

Don’t get me wrong, taking precautions over school violence is imperative. However, the Burlington Township school district went over the top … and TOOK HOLY WEEK HOSTILITY TO A WHOLE NEW LEVEL.

The school district decided that the group engaged in the hostage-taking activity was “right-wing fundamentalists” … a group the school named the “New Crusaders” … who do not believe in separation of church and state. This is unbelievable!

In fact, the mock gunmen allegedly stormed the school and took students hostage, “seeking justice because the daughter of one member of the organization had been expelled for PRAYING BEFORE CLASS.”

Your immediate online gift will support the ACLJ in our efforts to put an end to this type of anti-religious rhetoric in New Jersey … and all across the nation. Please give as generously as you can as we work toward righting this horrific wrong.

It is imperative that we act quickly in this issue. We will not stand for this type of anti-religious indoctrination in our public schools!

Let’s call this what it is: blatant religious hostility toward people of faith.

The school district’s mock hostage-taking program TARGETED CHRISTIANS as the perpetrators. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS.

My staff is hard at work on a legal demand letter that will be sent to school officials within the next few days. We are fully prepared to fight this issue head-on … we are looking at all the options, including litigation.

THIS TYPE OF RELIGIOUS STEREOTYPING IS DANGEROUS INDEED … AND OUR CHILDREN ARE BEING INDOCTRINATED WITH FALSE PHILOSOPHY AS A RESULT.

We are also developing a Washington, D.C., case involving suppression of free speech activities in public areas. Rev. Pat Mahoney conducts an Easter event throughout the city on public sidewalk areas – areas that are open for free speech.

Yet police officials told him he cannot conduct this activity any longer, citing “Church State Separation.” Our office is reviewing all the data now and preparing a demand letter to send to Washington officials, and we will take federal court action if necessary.

Please stand with the ACLJ now in this imperative matter. Do not allow religious hostility aimed at men and women of faith to fester and grow UNCHECKED in America. We cannot tolerate this type of anti-religious activity … nor should we.

Thank you for your support.
