Rape of a Name Prager H1: Is the rape of a name as serious and damaging as the rape of a body? If one considers the lasting and devastating effects of having your reputation ruined, the question is not so easy to answer.

Global Warming Is Hooey Prager H2: That’s not Dennis, that’s from the father of scientific climatology. Did we mention that he’s a stooge of industry?.. A terrible warehouse fire in South Carolina kills 9 firemen… Even Richard Cohen, a liberal columnist at the Washington Post, acknowledges that the Libby trial and verdict were a disgrace…. Ultimate Issues Hour: If You Were in a Bad Neighborhood and Ten Men… Prager H3: The full question Dennis always asks is “if you were in a bad neighborhood and ten men were walking toward you, would you or would you not feel relieved that they had just come from a Bible class.” Christopher Hitchens misquoted this question in his new book attacking God and religion. Dennis reviews the question and considers its many implications. Tue, 19 Jun 2007 04:00:00 GMT

From Earmarking to Phonemarking: Still Serving Pork

Just four months ago, the new Democratic majority in Congress vowed to curb earmarks and run the cleanest Congress ever. Not everybody believed them, but I for one gave them the benefit of the doubt. No more spinach subsidies, no more “fact-finding” tours to the Caribbean. No more bridges to nowhere.

OPEC Is Not in the House

by Jerry Taylor and Peter Van Doren

Jerry Taylor and Peter Van Doren are senior fellows. Peter Van Doren is also editor of
Regulation magazine.

On Tuesday, the House of Representatives passed a bill on a vote of 345-72 that would allow the federal government to sue OPEC for violations of America’s anti-trust laws. Not to put too fine a point on it, but the “No Oil Producing and Exporting Cartels Act of 2007” (NOPEC) is probably the most ridiculous piece of legislation ever hammered through Congress. That serious people entertain this idea is a remarkable demonstration of the fact that, once the topic of conversation turns to oil, the human brain spontaneously short-circuits, nodal synapses fire randomly, and I.Q. points bleed out of the cranium and all over the kitchen floor.

Springtime Bloom Waits on Warm Weather

Reading the weather Sunny Weather forecast and listening to the pounding rain outside my window I wonder how to believe the Global Warming Wackos.

Vacume driven Public Garbage System in Gothenburg

Vacume driven Public Garbage System in Gothenburg

The Workers Strike at Swenglish Rantings Radio is suppose to be OVER ALREADY

How do we get the Lazy Monkey Butt moving and get some of these translations done!!!

This is a cool public works project. Garbage receptacles  are linked together with a huge vacume system to help keep litter off the streets of Gothenburg. Next time we remember we will try to take pictures and see if we can get technical information on the growing project hear in Sweden.

Not for Nothing, Waste Disposal is not glamorous but it is an essential part of life in any community. Those pretenders who foam at the mouth talking about Global Warming should chill out and deal with todays real threat, pollution and proper disposal of life’s cast offs….

More detail to come when I whip the Monkey Butt into action!!!

Radio Sweden 2007-05-10

On the cards: legislation to combat online grooming. Experts go after sexual predators who target youngsters on the Net. Finland`s newly re-elected Prime Minister visits Sweden. A game plan against global warming topped the agenda. And many Swedes pop in a pouch of moist oral snuff instead of lighting up. But a study suggests that the snus honeymoon may be over, as scientists connect it to cancer.

Dennis Prager

Dennis Prager – 2007-05-01

About

SHOW

Tony Blair Steps Down

Prager H1: The British Prime Minister will leave office in June after 10 years on the job. As usual, he was very eloquent as he reviewed his tenure. Dennis deconstructs his comments and finds much to admire and much to be concerned about… Dennis talks to Sasha Issenberg, a journalist who has writes for Slate and Washington Monthly. He has written a new book about Dennis’ favorite food — The Sushi Economy: Globalization and the Making of a Modern Delicacy.

They’re Not Going to Surrender on a Battleship

Prager H2: Our enemies are suicide bombers and guerilla armies. We can’t stop a Saudi sneaking into Iraq and blowing himself up in a market. So, what does it mean that we have won or we have lost? This is a different kind of war, but not less critical because it’s not so easily defined… Dennis talks to Mike Gallagher, nationally syndicated radio talk show, who is in Greensburg, KS, a town of two thousand which was wiped off the map late last week by a horrific tornado.

Do Big Cities Make Us Worse?

Prager H3: Thomas Jefferson thought so. And Dennis tends to agree. Callers, including Allen’s sister, Amy, weigh in with their theories.
