This Is Our Place: The Martyrdom of Father Ganni Apart from the Holy Land itself, the area with the longest continual Christian presence is what is now known as Iraq. According to some traditions, the apostle Thomas brought Christianity to the area shortly after the death and resurrection of Jesus.

Hugh Hewitt: Can the Immigration Bill Be Revived? The president traveled to Capitol Hill on Tuesday in an attempt to revive the immigration compromise. Dennis Prager

Dennis Prager – 2007-06-14

About

SHOW

Freedom Not Climate Is at Risk Prager H1: Those are the powerful words of the President of the Czech Republic who sees parallels between Marxism and Environmentalism… Two Clinton-appointed judges decided earlier this week that an Al Qaeda terrorist must be tried in civil court (where he will have access to national security documents,) because he didn’t fight against us in Afghanistan, but only here in the USA. Is this madness or is it just how liberals think? Or both? Thu, 14 Jun 2007 04:00:00 GMT

http://boss.streamos.com/download/Townhall/audio/mp3/47f1ad79-db4a-4523-989d-1353c79a750d.mp3?siteid=PodCast

What Do You Have to Do to Be an Enemy? Prager H2: Dennis continues his discussion of the Clinton-appointed judges’ (2-1 in Fourth Circuit Court) decision to define Al Qaeda terrorists operating in the US as civilians, not “enemy combatants.” It’s very disturbing and points out once again how important the power to appoint judges is… Dennis talks to David Weinberger, fellow at Harvard Law School’s Berkman Center for the Internet and Society, former Internet advisor to Howard Dean and author of Everything Is Miscellaneous: The Power of the New Digital Disorder… The Democratic dominated Massachusetts legislature has just decided not to allow the people of that state to vote on a same sex marriage amendment. Dennis analyzes this move with Jeff Jacoby, columnist for The Boston Globe. Thu, 14 Jun 2007 04:00:00 GMT

Do Kids Have Hobbies Today? Prager H3: Having a hobby means you entertain and educate yourself. Being entertained – listening to an IPod or playing a video game is not a hobby. Have hobbies for kids disappeared? If so, it’s a big loss. Best of Prager Hour. Originally broadcast on September 26, 2006. Thu, 14 Jun 2007 04:00:00 GMT

Mudslinging and Dirty Politics: Should Christians Go into Politics? We’ve still got a year and a half to go until the 2008 presidential election—and the mudslinging and dirty tricks have been going full blast for months: Publicity over John Edwards’ $400 haircuts. Gossip about Rudy Giuliani’s multiple marriages. Internet ads that make Hillary Clinton look demonic.

Dennis Prager

Dennis Prager – 2007-06-06

About

SHOW

Buck Fush Prager H1: This is a Leftist witticism that one commonly sees on cars and t-shirts now. Why is there no equivalent on the Right? Plenty of conservatives hated Bill Clinton, but they never came up with an equivalent bumper sticker. Why do liberals and Leftists swear in public and conservatives don’t? And what does it say about the two competing ideologies?… Obama falls into victim-speak when addressing a black crowd. And, Hillary has upset the Left with her “we are safer now” comment at Sunday’s debate – just as Dennis predicted she would. Wed, 06 Jun 2007 04:00:00 GMT

No Child Left Behind Working Prager H2: Test scores have soared, according to an independent report. Let’s see how much credit GW gets for this. You can guess… California’s Democratic dominated legislature passes bill legalizing same sex marriage – again… NASA Chief apologizes for his “no reason to panic about global warming” remarks. He violated the orthodoxy and he’s been made to repent – in public, of course… Dennis starts his analysis of yesterday’s Republican debate. Wed, 06 Jun 2007 04:00:00 GMT

Sweden launches its official embassy in the virtual online world, Second Life. Radio Sweden was there.. And while the country makes headlines in the virtual world – how is it doing internationally? To make sure that Swedes aren`t left behind as globalisation changes everyday life, the government has appointed a new council. But there are risks….Also, an alarming report indicates that women with disabilities are one of the most highly victimised groups in Swedish society.

Africa’s Zimbabwe Problem

by Brett D. Schaefer and Marian L. Tupy

Brett D. Schaefer is Jay Kingham Fellow in International Regulatory Affairs in the Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom, a division of the Kathryn and Shelby Cullom Davis Institute for International Studies at the Heritage Foundation and Marian L. Tupy is a policy analyst at the Cato Institute’s Center for Global Liberty and Prosperity.

Zimbabwe was recently elected to chair the U.N. Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD), to the dismay of human-rights groups and nations, like the United States, that would like the United Nations to take its responsibilities seriously. This election is more than a travesty; it is a cruel demonstration of disregard for the suffering of the people of Zimbabwe on the part of the U.N. and those African countries that helped Zimbabwe to the chairmanship.
