Kerstin is not going to eat Kellogg’s AGAIN!!!

Kerstin Nilsson, 68, says that she is NEVER going to eat cereal again!!! Not after finding a BAT in the box!

Not after a DRIED UP BAT fell out of the box!

In Kungshamn, a harbor town on the west coast of Sweden in the Tanum community, Kerstin Nilsson and Ingemar Hansson sat down for their evening snack, just as they normally do. They took out the sour milk, bowls and the Kellogg’s box.

This time, however, their meal would turn out to be anything but normal. While Ingemar was pouring the cereal, a clump fell out of the box and landed in the bowl.

Kerstin had to rinse it off under water to be able to see what it was – a hairy, dried up bat, about 4-6 centimeters long (2-3 inches).

This is NOT the kind of surprise you want to find in the box! “Batman”? I DON’T THINK SO – BLECHHHHH!!!

She called up the Kellogg’s company, and they immediately sent someone over from their Swedish office to pick up the bat and the cereal box.

The people at Kellogg’s are taking this whole matter very seriously. As far as Kerstin knows, this bat must have gotten into the box in England.

The thing that worries her the most is the fact that Ingemar already had eaten THREE BOWLS of cereal before the bat fell out – who knows what diseases that little bat could be carrying…

Kellogg’s has promised to give the couple information as soon as possible as to how this happened, and what they are going to do. Kerstin has also contacted the Consumer’s Ombudsman, because if you as a customer have been exposed to something unpleasant, you might be entitled to some form of compensation.

She has however told the people at Kellogg’s NOT to send them any cereal as a compensation – somehow that just wouldn’t feel right.

She says herself that “a gift card to the liquor store or the grocery store might be a good idea” – but no more cereal!!!
