One evening when I was almost asleep, Paul nudged me and told me he had found a very interesting podcast that he wanted me to listen to. It was an interview with a pediatrician who had started making baby foods with a bit more SPICES in them – and at once I was WIDE AWAKE!!! Now, THIS was interesting! Being a mother myself, I remember starting to get the Little Ranter used to solid foods, all that mashing and mixing all kinds of vegetables for her to try, and the way the pediatric nurses told us first time Moms to go slow, one thing at a time, no spices, no nothing… But when do you start adding more spices to it, and why “shouldn’t” you add a bit more taste to the food?!? Tasting the baby food, checking the temperature before giving it to my little girl, I found it quite revolting at times, to be honest with you – that puréed stuff was just so “blahhhh”… How can you tell your baby to “eat the yummy food” when you actually don’t find it the least bit yummy yourself?!? Have a listen with us – and if you’re a Mom with a little one, why not try this new food, expand your baby’s pallet – food is fun, food is an experience, food isn’t “blahhhh” at all!!! (We actually got quite HUNGRY while listening to the podcast, too – this type of thing isn’t just for babies, hehe!)CLICK ON THE PLAYER ABOVE TO LISTEN TO THE INTERVIEW WITH US!!!

After listening to the Interview that Megan Sukys did with Dr. Susanna Block of World Baby Foods we have decided to make KUOW’s The Beat Podcast one of the regular podcasts that we follow. The Monkey Princess & Paul highly recommend that you go to KUOW and listen to their programs and subscribe to their Podcast as well.

Thanks so much for commenting on our product. We’re happy people are interested. And, The Beat is a great local public radio show. Enjoy.
