This is one strange cat…

When I was a kid we had real butcher shops, the kind with saw dust on the floors and a bunch of men behind the counters chopping meat to order. Every butch shop had a cat. Joe’s Meat shop in Astoria on Ditmars had this one mean cat. Real MEAN. This cat one day while I was there scratched open this one bag of dried egg noodles and chowed down on the dry pasta. It wasn’t like that fat cat didn’t get the choice scraps of meat.

My mother had a Siamese cat that was mean most of the time. It was even nasty to her.

Anyone else know a mean cat?
